The ARL 9900 Series

X-rayfluorescence allowsmeasurement of upto 84elements of the periodic table in samples ofvarious
forms and nature: solids orliquids, conductive or non-conductive. Typical samples include glasses, plastics,oils, allmetals, ores, refractory, cement and geological materials.Allsamples mustnotreact withthe X-rays.
The solid samples must support the analysis under vacuumand the liquid samplesare analysed under helium environment. Advantages of XRF over other techniques arespeed ofanalysis, generallyeasysample preparation, verygood stabilityand precision and widedynamic range.
The ARL 9900 Series provides highperformance measurements on all types ofsamples. The heart of the ARL 9900 can be made ofvarious modules: monochromators for rapid, dedicatedroutine analysis, a Moiré fringe Universal or Smart

goniometer for flexible elemental analysis and an integrated X-raydiffraction systemprovidinga wide range for phase and mineral analysis. The combination of fixed channelsand goniometer guaranteesspeed, flexibilityand reliabilityof analysis.

Four versions are available.
♦ ARL 9900 OASISis the low power version, with a 1.2kWgenerator, without externalwater cooling.
♦ ARL 9900 INTELLIPOWER isthe mid power version, witha 2.5 kWgenerator, withoutexternalwater cooling.
♦ ARL 9900 XP is the standard version, with a 3.6 kWgenerator.
♦ ARL 9900 XP+ isthe high performance version, with a 4.2 kWgenerator
